We pride ourselves on the relationships we have with reliable suppliers, ensuring continuity of quality and supply throughout the year. This allows us to offer our customers an unrivalled service and the widest choice of Frozen At Sea brands in the market.
Much of the fish now caught and supplied into the UK’s Fish and Chip shops is produced by a number of modern trawlers. These operate in carefully managed fishing grounds in the icy, clear waters of the North Atlantic and Barents Sea around Iceland, the Faroe Islands and Scandinavia.
The vessels have onboard factory processing and freezing machinery. The fish is caught, processed, filleted and frozen at sea within six hours of being caught, resulting in a consistently high quality of product.
Much of the fish we supply is caught in the Barents Sea and then landed in the vessel’s native country. From there it is transported directly into Hull and Grimsby, sometimes via Holland, and is then distributed to our customers throughout the UK.
